1 lb lean beef brisket
1   chopped onion
1/2   green pepper,chopped
1 clove garlic
1   bay leaf
1/2 tsp oregano
8 oz can tomato sauce
4   green olives
1 tsp raisins
1/4 cup vinegar

Brown ground meat with onion, green pepper, garlic, bay leaf, 1/4 cup vinegar, and salt, for 1-2 hours or until tender.  Set aside to cool.  Shred meat into stringing pieces.  Reserve broth.

To make sauce, chop remaining onion, and saute with garlic and sweet pepper in olive oil.  Add tomato sauce and a small amount of beef broth.  Add bay leaf, remaining vinegar, salt, pepper, and beef strips.

Cover and simmer about 30 minutes.  Serve with rice.
