Marinated Flank Steak

2 ea flank steaks
1 tbsp minced onion
1 tsp dry mustard
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp sugar
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup cooking oil
3 tbsp wine vinegar
2 tbsp (heaping) chopped chutney
1 clove garlic, minced

 

Put steaks in a large dish or pan and prick steaks all over with a fork.  combine remaining ingredients and pour over meat.  Marinate at least 24 hours or up to 3 days.  Cook on grille to desired doneness.  Cut across grain in thin slices to serve.
